PULCINELLA’S INSOMNIA
2017
„Pulcinella’s Insomnia“ has been
initiated with the help of the puppeteer Bruno Leone in Naples in 2017,
and continued in Athens, next to Stathis Markopoulos – puppeteer himself, with
a long experience in this kind of folk theater.
It is a new show with an old spirit, using glove puppets, and following the tradition and spirit of the „Guarattelle Napoletane“ with a new storyline.
It has been played in festivals, on the street, in Greece, Italy, Hungary, Kenya, in the villages of Transylvania in Romania and in bars, looking for a mixed public.
