ORSOLYA
The images taken during the Flowing Streams residency at Intersecția, represent different stories and points of view, all related to the waters of Brădet. Even if from the point of view of time we slide into the distant past or are in the present with thoughts of the future, the stories still meet in the same geographical space, the village of Brădet and the Buzău Twist. Thus, the transparent, overlapping images create a map together, recounting different moments in the village's history. Putting aside the linearity of time, each of these images contributes to the complexity of the final map, and just as due to transparency they are all present/visible at the same time, so too does interconnectivity - the effect of any specific moment represented on the other moments. Awareness of the possible effects raises questions about our present in terms of our relationship with water and springs
